Financial freedom is perhaps the most aspired for status for most people. Understandably so-having more than enough money will give an excellent quality of life everybody wants. What is important to understand is that financial riches in itself will not make you happy.

In the early’00s, eight of the most influential men in America came together. They were powerful men who managed a considerable part of the money of America. Most of them were heads of the largest and important corporations in the nation. One was a cabinet member of the President and the other was the president of the New York Stock Exchange.

If anybody ever wanted to know the science of getting rich, this is the room you would want to be in. Fast-forward to twenty-five years later and let’s take a look at what became of these important men.

The New York Stock Exchange president went to prison. The cabinet member was also sent to jail. Three of them killed themselves, two lost all their money and the last went insane. This is a true story. Now, if you were to tell me this is where financial freedom will bring you– I’d have to say thanks, but no thanks.

So what happened? You have eight powerful men who lost everything. They were a success but they did not learn how to truly live a rich life. Understand that the science of getting rich is not about the steps to amass riches; it is having wealth without leaving out an exceptional quality of life that is all ours by right.

This is not to say that rich people are miserable folks. On the contrary, Napoleon Hill was a renowned writer who interviewed 500 of America’s richest people and many of them all shared the secret common to the truly wealthy.

The secret itself was vaguely touched upon but never concretely discussed because Napoleon Hill believed that it is up to the individual to discover it on his own for it to be effective. Nevertheless, the established principles he set forth were so significant that it impacted the lives of people even after many years.

A person must have an accurate and real understanding of money to have the success he wants. Laws and principles are in operation that can help us be rich and have a beautiful life. It is for anyone who wants it.
