Marlen. I suggest you read PsychoCybernetics. Its a good addition to the LOA/the Secret and goes into great length about the power of the subconcious mind, which is a big part of what the LOA is about.
Darryl, the point *is not* social conscience, nor is it compassion. The point is that Desteni is simply misinterpreting the LOA.

And as you sit with your family eating your yummy dinner, you couldn’t give a FUCK about the billions on this Earth who live with hunger every day of their lives. NO, while you eat in blissful contentment, you continue to tacitly accept the world as it is, because your tummy is being filled with yummy food, and that’s all you care about. You obviously have no consideration for another’s welfare. Remember, the rich man’s heaven is the poor man’s hell. You can connect the dots if you dare.
The fact that a doctor heals sick people has nothing to do with the concept of the LOA, its simply fact. It has no more bearing on the LOA than say, manifesting a yummy dinner with your family. Is my yummy dinner generating some evil or negative energy somewhere else in the world? There is positive and negative, but they don’t need to equate to one and other, nor do they need to balance. Take another deep breath and try again.

Taking a quick look at the world it is quite easy to see that like does not attract like, polar opposites attract! Like magnets. This is one more example of backwards thinking I see so often.Synchonicity is another story, then we have like things manifesting together, is that really attraction or is it simply things precipitating in the same probability field having similar characteristics?

The problem isn’t money, its disaccociation with the self. Communism never works because someones always in charge. The change needs to be made internally before it can manifest externally… I think this adds to what your saying, but then again words distort the intended meaning of what is being said….
