Plato, a philosopher, taught his students about five three-dimensional shapes. They have been names the Platonic solids. Physical matter, everything, is made up of Platonic solids or partial Platonic solids. These shapes are the basic energy that binds together the subatomic, the atomic, the molecular and the cellular worlds.
