I was selling the 2008 Victoria’s Secret fashion show on eBay in a DVD and my listing was cancelled, WHY?

I listed the DVD as original, the real deal and high quality DVD.
I recorded this DVD and was going to sell it for extra cash.
Aren’t I allow to sell my own DVD?
Is there a way to sell the DVD without my listing being removed?
It wasn’t your dvd, it was Victoria’s Secrets dvd.
There are copyright laws.

Ever hear of COPYRIGHT? That is why you cant sell your "copy" because it is not yours to sell.

eBay is very strict and it adheres to all copyright infringements. Recording a show from TV does not give you the right to sell the show unfortunately. The show is copyrighted and cannot be duplicated or reproduced for monetary gain.

Well, actually you are marketing what is another’s work. Unless you are going to give Victoria Secret and CBS- whatever broadcast station showed the fashion show, I don’t recall- royalties, you are infringing on their copy writes.
Frankly, I think ebay did you a favor. If Victoria Secret, the broadcast company that displayed the show, and their owners wanted to, they could sue you. I think ebay saved you from getting into a legal battle with them.
Note: You may want to ask a lawyer to make sure that what I am telling you is the complete truth.

If this was legal I could just record anything I wanted and sell it. Crawl out from under your rock and get a part-time job.
